Of course there are some messages that fit more than one category, and demand "don't fence me in with your arbitary catagories." This humble product had its birth in the heartland of Kansas, when Forest Gill first had the idea after the invention of adhesive-backed paper in 1955. Today, folks of every political, religious, social, ethnic, and gender persuasion make use of stickers and decals as a means of self-expression, identification: political, faith community, civic, school, causes, athletic, and gender pride, resistance to tyranny, war, hate, disease, pestilence, and arrogance, oh and, of course humor.
