Guidelines for Computer-Generated Artwork
| Artwork Guidelines |
We accept 3.5" diskettes, zip disks, CDs and email
(please contact factory for email address). All disks must be Macintosh
formatted.
- Accepted programs are Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, & Adobe
Photoshop
- Convert all type to outline form (curves). If this cannot
be accomplished, include all of the screen & printer fonts used
to create your document.
- Be sure to include any placed images used
in creating the document.
They must be saved as a TIFF or EPS file.
Please include a print of the artwork and any special instructions. |
| Art Preparation Charges |
Art charges can be avoided by supplying computer generated art (which
is preferred) or camera ready artwork. Camera ready art is:
- Complete art, including all copy to be reproduced exactly as submitted.
Try to send art at 200%
- Ready to scan, no tape, folds, etc.
- Needs no touch up or design rearranging.
- Always black & white, no grays or colors.
- Faxed artwork is not considered camera ready.
Four color process printing requires special quotation. |
| Proofs |
Black and white paper proof $10.00. Actual production proof $50.00
plus art charges, for a one color imprint. Add $30.00 for each extra
color. Only art charges can be applied against the production order. |
| Color Matches |
We make every effort to match PMS colors when specified. However, we
cannot guarantee exact color match. PMS colors are not available on hot
stamped ribbons. Color match on paper $20.00. Color match on vinyl $40.00. |
